Can I book accommodation outside Australia?
Yes, you can book accommodation all around the world. Simply click on the “International Hotels” link in the top right hand corner of the search box on the home page.

Can I change my booking?
Changes can also be made to most bookings. This is dependent on the property’s cancellation/modification policy. There is a $10 fee to modify your booking online or $15 if you call or email quickbeds.com Customer Service in addition to any fees set by the property.

Can I change the room type and/or the number of people in my booking?
You cannot change the room type or number of people in an existing booking. You can however change your travel dates or the number or rooms you need subject to availability and the property’s cancellation policy.

If you wish to change the number of people or the room type in your booking, you will need to cancel the original booking and make a new one.

Can I only book hotels?
At quickbeds.com you can book all types of accommodation: hotels, serviced apartments, backpacker hostels, bed and breakfasts (B&B) and motels.

Can I request a specific bedding configuration?
Bedding configuration can be requested in the “Special Requests” field/box located in the online booking form. Please note that the property will do everything possible to accommodate your request, however these are ‘requests’ and are not guaranteed.

Do I have to pay in full now?
You do need to pay for you accommodation in full when you book your accommodation online. Once you have made your booking, an email will automatically be sent to you and the property. This email is your booking confirmation Tax Invoice. Print out a copy and present it to the property on check-in.

Upon check-in, the property will ask you for a credit card imprint for incidental expenses (e.g. room service, mini bar, telephone calls) as well as photo identification (e.g. driver’s licence) for security purposes.

How can I pay for my accommodation?
You can book accommodation online on quickbeds.com by using Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Club.

How do I book my accommodation?
There are three steps to booking your accommodation on Quickbeds.com:


  1. Select either ‘Year Round’ or ‘Last Minute Specials’ depending on dates you are travelling. If you select ‘Year Round’, enter the date you wish to check-in and the number of nights you need
  2. Choose the number of adults and children staying in each room and whether you need a baby cot. This will ensure the rate you see is the total rate for everyone staying in that room.
  3. Select the region you want to stay in and hit ‘search’

A list of available properties will then be displayed. For further information about the property, click on the property name. To book, click on the room/package you are interested in. This will then take you to the online booking form.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?
You will receive an email once you have successfully made the booking to verify that your booking has been confirmed.

How do I know if there is a minimum night stay for that rate?
When you search for available properties, the results will be displayed in a table format. This table includes the property’s name, rates and details of any applicable minimum stay requirements.

How do I know the property’s cancellation policy?
To view the cancellation policy of the property you wish to book, click on the property’s name once you have completed your search. You will see the cancellation policy highlighted in red.

How do I view, modify or cancel my booking?
There are three steps to reviewing your booking on quickbeds.com:


  1. Click on ‘My Bookings’ in the navigation bar on the homepage.
  2. Enter the email address your booking confirmation was sent to, your booking confirmation number and click ‘search’ to retrieve your booking.
  3. To change or cancel your booking click the appropriate button at the bottom of the page and then make the necessary changes.

How private are my personal details?
You can be confident that your personal details are secure because quickbeds.com is operated by one of Australia's largest and most successful travel companies, Flight Centre Limited. Our privacy policy ensures your right to privacy (see the bottom of the page for a link to the policy).

If I change or cancel my booking, when will the refund appear on my credit card?
In most cases, you will be refunded the cost of the accommodation less any cancellation or modification fees within 2 business days. However this can take up to 5 days depending on bank settlement dates.

Is my information safe?
quickbeds.com is a secure site. This is an assurance that the site follows best security practices adopted by major online retailers. All information you enter while on quickbeds.com is sent via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and is encrypted to protect you against unintentional information disclosure to third parties.

What do I need to take with me when I check-in?
You need to take photo identification (e.g. driver's licence) and a copy of your booking confirmation with you when you check-in. Your booking confirmation will have been emailed to the address you nominated when you made your booking.

The hotel will also need a credit card to guarantee payment for any incidental charges (e.g. telephone calls, mini-bar, etc.).

What happens once I have made a booking?
Once you have successfully made a booking, an email is sent to the email address you nominated in the online booking form.

What if I don’t have a credit card?
If you don’t have a credit card, you can also book your Quickbeds accommodation at a number of travel agents around the world:

In Australia: Flight Centre, Escape Travel, Student Flights and Travel Associates.

Overseas: You can also book through Flight Centre and Student Flights in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Some travel agents have the facility where you can pay for your quickbeds.com booking in cash.

What if I need to cancel my booking?
You may cancel your booking at any time, provided it’s within the property’s cancellation policy.

To view the cancellation policy of the property you wish to book, click on the property’s name once you have completed your search.

If you wish to cancel your booking (in line with the property’s cancellation policy), you can do this online.

There is a $15 cancellation fee to cancel your booking. Alternatively you can call or email the Customer Service Team and they can do it on your behalf. In this case, the fee is $25. These fees are in addition to the cancellation fees set by the property.

What is the difference between Last Minute Specials and Year Round?
Last Minute Specials are given to Quickbeds.com from properties at the ‘last minute’. They are available for travel within the next 14 days. Hotels determine the number of rooms and the prices they give as a Last Minute Special depending on the number of rooms they have left to sell, however for a property to have their rates on Quickbeds.com, they must first agree to always give Quickbeds.com their best rate.

Selecting 'Year Round' in the search form allows you to book your accommodation more than 7 days in advance.

What time is check-in?
Check-in and check-out times are determined by each individual property. The property’s check-in time can be found by clicking on the property name on the search results page before you make a booking and also on your confirmation email once you have made a booking.
